Hawkeye-Cyclone football game to begin at 11 a.m.

IOWA CITY, Iowa — Four of the 12 upcoming University of Iowa football games now have official starting times after it was announced that the Hawkeye’s game at Iowa State on Sept. 12 will begin at 11 a.m. The game will be televised nationally on Fox Sports Net.

Iowa defeated the Cyclones 17-5 last season inside Kinnick Stadium. The Hawkeyes have won four of the last six meetings between the schools, including a 40-21 decision in Ames in 2003.

Other official starting times for Iowa football games are Sept. 26 at Penn State (7:05 p.m., Iowa time), Oct. 10 at home against Michigan (7:05 p.m.) and Oct. 24 at Michigan State (6:05 p.m.).

Last season the Hawkeyes compiled a record of 9-4 overall and posted a 31-10 victory over South Carolina in the Outback Bowl.
