IOWA CITY, IA – – The Golf Coaches Association of America has announced its PING All-Region Teams, and two Hawkeyes have been honored. Sophomore Vince India and senior Cole Peevler were named to the Midwest all-Region team.

Peevler is a four-year letterwinner for the Black and Gold and finished his career with a 74.3 scoring average. He also put together eight top ten tournament finishes as a Hawkeye. Peevler shares school records for the lowest 36-hole total (136) and 54-hole total (206). He also shares the third-lowest 18-hole total (65), which he has shot three different times throughout his career.

India is a two-year starter for the Hawkeyes and has five top ten tournament finishes. The Deerfield, IL native has a career scoring average of 73.8 with the second-lowest 18-hole total in school history (64).

Both Peevler and India helped lead the Black and Gold to a fifth place finish at the 2009 NCAA Southeast Regional and a 17th place finish at the 2009 NCAA Championships.
