Mini-Season Football Ticket Packages on Sale

June 13, 2009

IOWA CITY, Iowa – Fans of the nationally ranked University of Iowa football team can now purchase “mini-season ticket packages” that range in number of games from three to six, the UI Athletics Ticket Office has announced.

Fans making the purchase of a mini-season ticket must include either Iowa’s game against Arkansas State or its date with Big Ten Conference rival Indiana in their purchase. They must also purchase a minimum of three games and can purchase tickets to as many as six games.

Tickets to Iowa’s 2009 Homecoming game against Michigan are not available for inclusion in a mini-season ticket package. Fans interested in guaranteeing access to that game must, at this time, purchase a season ticket.

Tickets to all seven home games of Coach Kirk Ferentz’s squad are available as part of a group purchase that includes rental of space inside Hawkeye Village, the UI Athletics Department’s turn-key game-day corporate hospitality space. Click HERE for more information about Hawkeye Village.

Iowa opens its 2009 season Saturday, Sept. 4, against intrastate rival Northern Iowa. That game is the first of seven home dates for Coach Kirk Ferentz’s nationally ranked squad.
