IOWA CITY, Iowa — So, who will it be? Hall of Fame sports broadcaster Bob Brooks? Marc Moorehouse of the Cedar Rapids Gazette? Or maybe John Campbell of KCRG-TV9?
The question is who will ask the first question later today when the media assembles at the Hayden Fry Football Complex for the first weekly press conference of the 2009 season by UI Head Football Coach Kirk Ferentz.
The topic will be the season opener Saturday against intrastate rival and nationally ranked Northern Iowa. Game time is set for shortly after 11 a.m. inside historic Kinnick Stadium. The game will be televised live by the Big Ten Network.
Fans of the Iowa Hawkeyes who subscribe to Hawkeye All-Access, the multi-media area of hawkeyesports.com, the official world wide web site of the Iowa Hawkeyes, can watch the media conference live from start to finish by clicking HERE.
