Iowa City, IA – The University of Iowa volleyball program is inviting all children grades K-8 to join the Hawkeyes at the 2009 “Little Spikers” volleyball clinic. Participants are encouraged to join the Iowa players and staff at the Field House from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. October 10th and November 7th.
Children will be taught volleyball basics using special lightweight “training” balls and a lower net. The Little Spikers will learn to “Play like the Hawks” and have an opportunity to demonstrate their volleyball skills at Carver-Hawkeye Arena following the second set of Iowa’s contest vs. Purdue Friday, November 27th.
