Live Blogging From Jack Trice Stadium

Sept. 10, 2009

IOWA CITY, Iowa – Fans of the University of Iowa football team not able to make it to Ames Saturday for this year’s Hy-Vee Cy-Hawk Series game between the Hawkeyes and Iowa State can follow the game with a live blog from Jack Trice Stadium. Staff of the Iowa Sports Information Office will be manning the Official Iowa Football Game Day Blog from the press box during the game.

Fans can click HERE on game day to participate or right now to register to have a reminder sent to you.

This new feature was well-received after last week’s initial blog. The response to last week’s first live football blog was overwhelming. Nearly 3,000 Hawkeye fans from all over the country and world followed last week’s thrilling season opener on the blog and over 3,000 comments/questions were submitted by fans. Thanks again to everyone who participated!

This new feature gives die-hard Hawkeye fans the opportunity to voice their opinion in submitting questions and comments, answer polls and get up-to-the-minute information and stats about the game and Hawkeyes.

A reminder, due to the volume of entries, not everyone’s questions or comments can be posted.

The live blog will begin at 11 a.m. (CDT) and run throughout the game. Again, just click HEREon game day to join in on the conversation.
