Live Blogging From Spartan Stadium

Oct. 22, 2009

IOWA CITY – Hawkeye fans not able to make it to East Lansing for Saturday’s big conference showdown between Iowa and Michigan State can follow the game with a live blog from Spartan Stadium. Staff of the Iowa Sports Information Office will be manning the Official Iowa Football Game Day Blog from the press box during the game.

Fans can click HERE on game day to participate or right now to register to have a reminder sent to you.

This feature gives diehard Hawkeye fans the opportunity to voice their opinion in submitting questions and comments, answer polls and get up-to-the-minute play-by-play, notes and stats about the game and Hawkeyes.

A reminder, due to the volume of entries, not everyone’s questions or comments can be posted.

The live blog will begin at approximately 5:30 p.m. (CDT) and run throughout the game. Click on the interactive box below to join in on the conversation.

Fans who follow the Official Iowa Football Game Day Blog will also get the first chance to take advantage of a new ticket promotion from the UI Department of Athletics, involving football, men’s and women’s basketball and wrestling tickets.

Saturday’s game will be televised on the Big Ten Network with Wayne Larrivee, Chris Martin and Lisa Byington calling the action.

Hawkeye fans, we welcome your feedback on the Official Iowa Football Game Day Blog as well. What do you like best? Do you have suggestions to make it better? Would you like to see it used for basketball? Please send your feeback to hawkeyeblog@yahoo.com
