Opening Statement…
“This is a good win for us. I thought that our team played with great composure with nine points down in the second half. We just kept chipping away from that lead and pretty soon five minutes later we’re tied up. We took advantage of getting to the free throw line. We shot the ball extremely well at the free throw line. Amy Jaeschke is a great player and is very difficult to defend. We did just and average job on her, she had 30 points tonight. They have one superstar, but we have nearly five players in double figures. I love the balance of our team.”

Free Throws…
“Great percentage from the free throw line, 84 percent. Northwestern is a good free throw shooting team as well. We’re pretty happy we got there more often then they did.”

Three’s…
“I think we are known for hitting three’s. Teams come in here prepared for us taking a lot of three’s. We actually took a few less than we typically do.”

Run, Keeping Ball Away from Jaeschke…
“The first half our zone wasn’t very good, or it was and they hit some good shots. They came out on fire. We had to come out of the zone second half and that was much better. We were more aggressive and that enabled us to put some extra help around Jaeschke, which you really have to have.”

Free Throws…
“We were told to attack them and use screens. After we attacked them we got to the line more often, so that worked out well for us.”

50, Gabby Machado
Defending Amy Jaeschke…
“She has as couple inches on me so that right there is difficult. She has a wide body, so it is tough to get around her as well. I think I played well against her.”
