IOWA CITY, IA – The University of Iowa soccer team announced its spring schedule Wednesday, including one tournament held in Iowa City.
Iowa kicks off the spring schedule at home with a tournament held in the bubble. Iowa, Illinois State, North Dakota State, Drake and Iowa alumni will all compete in the scrimmage. Games are set to begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, February 27.
The Hawkeyes travel to St. Louis University March 27th before returning to Iowa City to host Graceland University April 10th.
Head Coach Ron Rainey and his team will end the spring season with two road trips. The team heads to South Bend to face Notre Dame (April 17th) and to Minnesota (April 24th) to compete in a four team tournament with Minnesota, Kansas and Iowa State.
“We are excited to announce our 2010 spring schedule,” Rainey said “We feel it offers the Hawkeyes some great challenges both early and late in the spring season.”
