Cilek and Harris Lead Iowa in Day Two

ORANGE PARK, FL — The University of Iowa women’s golf team improved by 20 strokes on day two of the Eagle Landing Invitational Monday afternoon. Iowa is currently tied for 15th place, having shot a 640 (330-310, +64) as a team for 18 holes. Central Arkansas leads for the second straight day, with a 596 (+20).

The Hawkeyes were led by Chelsea Harris and Laura Cilek. The duo finished day two with 76s (+4). Harris improved by three and Cilek 10 strokes, respectively.

Brianna Coopman improved her score by seven strokes (77, +5), Lauren Forbes two (81, +9), Gigi DiGrazia two (83, +11) and Kristi Cardwell shot an 85 (+13) for the second straight day.

The Hawkeyes will compete tomorrow in the final round of the invitational at Eagle Landing Golf Club.
