THIS WEEK: The Hawkeyes will travel to Columbus, OH to compete in the Lady Buckeye Invitational. Iowa is set to compete against 11 other teams April 17-18th. The Black and Gold travel squad will consist of Kristi Cardwell, Laura Cilek, Brianna Coopman, Gigi DiGrazia, Lauren Forbes and Chelsea Harris.

THE COMPETITION: Iowa will face 11 teams, including: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa State, Kent State, Michigan State, Minnesota, Northwestern, Ohio State, Penn State, Wisconsin and Youngstown State.

NEXT COMPETITION: The Hawkeyes will finish their regular season schedule April 23-25 at the Big Ten Championships in Madison, WI.

THE INDIANA INVITATIONAL: The Hawkeyes improved 12 strokes in their final round of the Indiana Invitational, finishing in 12th place of 16 teams. The Hawkeyes (317-312-300, +65) shot an even 300 the final 18 holes. Indiana won the 54 hole tournament by six strokes (204-291-291, +22). Sophomore Chelsea Harris (80-75-72, +11) led Iowa, showing improvement in every round. Harries tied for 29th after shooting par the final round. Junior Laura Cilek (78-80-72, +14) also shot par third round to finish tied for 34th place.
