IOWA CITY, IA – – University of Iowa Head Men’s Tennis Coach Steve Houghton announced today Chase Tomlins, a senior at Cascia Prep in Tulsa, OK, has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend the University of Iowa.
Tomlins, who chose the Hawkeyes over TCU and SMU, is a three-time Oklahoma state singles champion and will compete for his fourth title this month. Tomlins is nationally ranked and was ranked fourth in the USTA Missouri Valley section.
“Chase is already a very accomplished junior player with tremendous potential to become an outstanding college player,” said Houghton. “He will be a great addition to our team.”
