IOWA CITY, IA – The University of Iowa track and field program will host its Iowa Summer Throws Meet June 16 at 3 p.m. The meet is a USATF sanctioned event and will be held at the Cretzmeyer Track and Field Complex on the campus of The University of Iowa.
Athletes can register at the event site from 1:30-2:30 p.m. or send an email to scott-cappos@uiowa.edu. There is a $10 entry fee per person. Payment is due the day of the event.
Open events include the men’s and women’s Shot Put, Hammer, Discus and Javelin. Junior events include the women’s Hammer. The meet is open to athletes of all ages (except the Women’s Junior Hammer).
