IOWA CITY, Iowa — Chuck Long could use your taps. So could the University of Iowa Alumni Association.
The University of Iowa is making a final month-long push for Long to ascend the standings of the Big Ten Icons Bobblethon, a contest promoting the upcoming debut of Big Ten Icons. Long is the bobblehead that represents the University of Iowa and as of July 1, he was sitting in eighth place in the Big Ten bobblehead standings. The bobblehead that receives the most taps through July 31 will win $10,000 in scholarship money for the winning school’s alumni association.
