Recruiting Class Earns National Recognition

IOWA CITY, IA – The University of Iowa men’s swimming team’s 2010 recruiting class was ranked 17th by collegeswimming.com. Iowa signed the top swimmer in the state of Iowa for the second straight year. Last year it was Jordon Huff (Dubuque, IA) and this year is Dustin Rhoads (Ames, IA). The national recruiting website ranked the top 25 incoming classes and seven Big Ten schools landed on the list.

Iowa’s incoming class includes Max Behles (Evanston, IL), Manuel Belzer (Schornsheim, Germany), Grant Betulius (Naperville, IL), Tyler Lentz (Reedsburg, WI), Andrew Marciniak (Gilbert, AZ), Devon Meeks (Farmington, MN), Kyle Noser (Denver, CO), Dustin Rhoads (Ames, IA) and Gianni Sesto (Las Vegas).

The Hawkeyes open the 2010 season by hosting their annual Black and Gold intrasquad meet Oct. 2 at the new Campus Recreation and Wellness Center (CRWC).
