NORMAN, Oklahoma —The University of Iowa men’s tennis team got out of the gates in main draw action today at the ITA Central Region Championships. The Hawkeyes picked up two victories in singles play, as well as two victories in doubles action.

In round two, the tandem came away victorious again with a victory over de Paula Periera and David Cavalcanti of Wichita State, winning 8-2.
