The Hawkeyes travel to Bloomington, Ind., Saturday for an 11 a.m. Iowa time date with the Indiana Hoosiers. Interestingly, both Ferentz and IU head coach Bill Lynch will be looking for win No. 100 in their career. The game will be televised live by the Big Ten Network.
Reaching the century mark will, however, be the furthest thing from Ferentz’s mind when Iowa takes the field at Memorial Stadium. Instead, the top priority will likely be slowing down Hoosier quarterback Ben Chappel, who leads the Big Ten Conference with an average of 305 yards passing per game.
The game is the 72nd in the series and Iowa holds a 40-27-4 advantage overall and has an 18-17-1 mark in games played at IU. Iowa defeated Indiana 42-24 in Iowa City last on Halloween Day.
In addition to live coverage of each of Ferentz’s weekly press conferences, subscribers to Hawkeye All-Access also have exclusive access to the weekly visits with the media of UI basketball coaches Fran McCaffery and Lisa Bluder, live and exclusive coverage of Ferentz’s, McCaffery’s and Bluder’s post-game media conference after home events, live and exclusive coverage of the weekly “Hawk Talk” radio shows of Iowa’s head football, men’s basketball and women’s basketball coaches, and, of course, the live play-by-play of every Iowa football game featuring the Hawkeye Radio Network’s Gary Dolphin, Ed Podolak and Rob Brooks, and all men’s basketball, women’s basketball and wrestling events.
