Dec. 6, 2010

THIS WEEK
The University of Iowa women’s swimming and diving team will host the Iowa State Cyclones in the seventh annual Hy-Vee Cy-Hawk series. The women’s swimming meet is worth two points towards the Cy-Hawk Trophy. Iowa leads the event, 7-6. The meet will start at 6 p.m. at the CRWC.

“Iowa State is clearly a big meet for the state of Iowa and for our team,” said Head Coach Marc Long. “We have to prepare for it and prepare for finals. This is our academic week right now, so balancing academics and athletics is a big focus going into this week.”
