IOWA CITY, Iowa – The University of Iowa soccer team announced its spring schedule Friday. The five event schedule includes two home games and a tournament at Kansas University.
Iowa kicks off the spring schedule at home February 27th in the Bubble. The Hawkeyes host Drake University. Illinois State University will play in Iowa City Saturday, April 2nd.
Head Coach Ron Rainey and his team hit the road for a rematch with future Big Ten rival Nebraska March 6th before traveling to Kansas University for a tournament with the Jayhawks and in-state rival Cyclones.
The Hawkeyes finalize the 2011 spring season with game at Missouri April 16th.
“We are excited to announce our 2011 spring schedule,” Rainey said “We feel it offers the Hawkeyes some great challenges both early and late in the spring season that will help us stay competitive.”
