IOWA CITY, IA – The University of Iowa soccer team has finalized its schedule for both the 2011 elite and summer camps. The announcement came Wednesday from Head Coach Ron Rainey.
Iowa’s elite skills camp is set to take place July 17-20. The camp is for girls ages 10-18. Campers will get to stay overnight in Hillcrest, a university residence hall, and increase their knowledge and skills of the game with athletes their age. The four day camp features advanced instruction, a strength and agility session, seminar on recruiting and games throughout the week.
The Hawkeyes will also be hosting camps this summer. The dates for those camps are June 6-10 and July 25-29.
All campers that attend the camps will receive a free camp T-shirt and instruction from Iowa coaching staff and current Iowa soccer players.
