'Hawkeye Village' an Option for Football Fans Needing Tickets

July 1, 2011

IOWA CITY, Iowa – Fans of the Iowa Hawkeyes still seeking a ticket to one of the seven home games of the 2011 University of Iowa football team, take note: You have an option.

Approximately 1,000 tickets for each of Iowa’s three non-conference and four Big Ten Conference games at historic Kinnick Stadium are available for purchase through the UI’s corporate hospitality program, “Hawkeye Village.”

Now located close than ever before to Kinnick behind the grandstands of Duane Banks Field, the home of the UI baseball team, Hawkeye Village is a turn-key opportunity for groups of fans of the Hawkeyes to share in the excitement of a game day in Iowa City. Game tickets, food, beverages, musical entertainment are available for groups of all sizes.

Hawkeye Village isn’t only for groups, however. It’s also an option for the family of four, for example, to access game tickets, depending on the game desired. As always, access to game tickets is on a first-come, first-served basis after the previous year’s Hawkeye Village customers have had their chance to participate again this season.

Hawkeye Village opens its doors three hours before kickoff. For more information contact Bravo Sports Marketing at (319) 626-8286 or visit them on the world wide web by clicking HERE.

Iowa opens its 2011 home schedule on Sept. 3 against Tennessee Tech. The game is the first of seven home games for the Hawkeyes, a schedule that includes games with Big Ten Conference rivals Northwestern, Indiana, Michigan and Michigan State, and a non-conference date with Pittsburgh of the Big East Conference.
