Hawkeyes Close Out Competition in Palo Alto

PALO ALTO, Calif. — The University of Iowa swimming and diving team wrapped up competition at the ConocoPhillips USA Swimming National Championships with three Hawkeye student-athletes competing.

Byron Butler and Donny Warren swam in the 200-back event, finishing in 59th and 122nd place, respectively. Butler touched the wall in 2:06.23, while Warren finished with a time of 2:13.70.

Andrew Marciniak, who was competing for his club team, rounded out the UI action in the Championship, posting a time of 2:26.81 in the 200-breast.
