Europe Trip Day 11 (Paris) Photo Gallery
Hello Hawkeye fans!
It’s great to have the chance to connect with everyone from Europe. We have had a great trip so far and tomorrow is our final day of our European tour.
I woke up this morning and listened to music on our balcony that overlooks the Eiffel Tower. I love the view.
Some of the team headed out to the Palace of Versailles for our first sightseeing of the day. We had an English tour guide who took us around. My favorite part was probably the impressive gardens. We liked the gardens so much we decided to stop and have lunch.
After our time at Versailles, our group walked past the Moulin Rouge and went to the Montmarte shopping area. Most of us bought bracelets from the local shops. We stopped at a local café in Montarte for dinner and enjoyed the sights.
We play our final game of the trip tomorrow night. I’m looking forward to getting back on the court and playing with my teammates. It’s been fun to play actual games for the first time at Iowa, and this trip has made me look forward to my first season as a Hawkeye!
