BURLINGTON, Iowa — Golfweek.com assistant editor Lance Ringler sat down with University of Iowa senior Chris Brant after the first round of the Golfweek Conference Challenge Sunday. Brant fired a two-under 70 in the first round, as he defends his individual title at Spirit Hollow Golf Course in Burlington.
“At the beginning of his college career, Chris Brant was simply trying to find a spot in the Iowa lineup,” Ringler says in his feature story on Brant. “Fast forward four years and Brant, now a senior, has developed into a quiet leader that is among the best college players in the nation.”
