Tulsa, Okla. — The University of Iowa sophomores Jonas Dierckx and Chase Tomlins finished play at the ITA Central Regional Championships in Tulsa, Okla., at the Case Tennis Center Sunday.
After opening the main draw with two straight victories to reach the round of 16, Dierckx fell Oklahoma State’s Vlad Bondarenko 6-1, 6-1. Dierckx has five singles victories this fall season. Tomlins fell to Bradley’s Hamish Weerasinghe 6-1, 6-1 in singles consolations.
Iowa will cap off the fall season Oct. 28-31, hosting the Big Ten Indoor Singles/Doubles Championship at the Hawkeye Tennis and Recreation Complex. ?@
