Buck Night 2011 features Lisa Bluder’s University of Iowa women’s basketball team against Virginia Tech in the 2011 Big Ten/ACC Challenge.
WHAT
Buck Night is an annual event staged by the UI Department of Intercollegiate Athletics that invites friends of the UI and fans of the Hawkeyes to “sample” the very best in women’s college basketball. Tickets for adults are just a dollar.
WHEN
Buck Night 2011 is Wednesday, Nov. 30. Tip-off is scheduled for shortly after 7 p.m.
WHERE
Mediacom Court at Carver-Hawkeye Arena on the campus of the University of Iowa in Iowa City.
WHY WE NEED YOU THERE
It’s an important game for the Hawkeyes and the Big Ten Conference…a tough opponent…home-court pride…momentum heading into Iowa’s dates with Big 12 Conference opponents Kansas State and Iowa State in the coming week. And, because it’s pretty much a risk-free night off the couch – your ticket costs only $1 – we’re hoping you’ll find your way to Carver to support the Hawkeyes, you’ll like what you see, and you’ll come back for another game or two during the remainder of the 2011-12 season.
