Dec. 30 Game Moved to 6 p.m.

IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa women’s basketball game vs. Northwestern on Thursday, Dec. 30 has been changed to a 6 p.m. start. The time was moved up one hour to allow fans to watch both the Hawkeye women’s basketball game at Carver-Hawkeye Arena and the Insight Bowl, which is scheduled for a 9 p.m. (CT) start.

Iowa’s game against Northwestern is the Big Ten opener for both teams. The Dec. 30 game is a “Family Four Pack” night. Fans can purchase four tickets, four hot dogs and four drinks for $25. It’s also UI Faculty Staff Appreciation Night. Anyone with a valid UI staff ID will receive free admission. Camper Reunion day is also scheduled for Dec. 30.

Regular ticket prices for the Northwestern game are $9 for adults and free for youth (18 and under) and UI students. The game will also be televised live on Mediacom.
