Bluder Live Wednesday

IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa head women’s basketball coach Lisa Bluder will hold a scheduled press conference Wednesday in the media room inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

The visit with local, regional and national media will begin at 11 a.m. (CT), and will be available live from start to finish on Hawkeye All-Access, the multi-media portal inside hawkeyesports.com, the official World Wide Web of the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Bluder’s squad takes a record of 11-9 overall (3-4 in the Big Ten Conference) into Lincoln, Neb., on Thursday, Jan. 26, where it will face Nebraska (16-3, 5-2). The Cornhuskers won the first meeting, 77-72, on Jan. 8 in Iowa City. Since that game, Nebraska has gone 2-2 and the Hawkeyes, 1-2.

Iowa is seeking its first conference road victory of the season. The Hawkeyes nearly pulled off an upset Sunday at Penn State, where they held a 50-49 lead with 6:09 remaining. Kamille Wahlin scored 21 points on 5-of-10 shooting from 3-point range, and Jaime Printy added 13 points with seven assists.
