Bluder Live Wednesday

Feb. 7, 2012

IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa head women’s basketball coach Lisa Bluder will gather with media Wednesday in the press room inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

The visit with local, regional and national media will begin at 11:15 a.m. (CT), and will be available live from start to finish on Hawkeye All-Access, the multi-media portal inside hawkeyesports.com, the official World Wide Web of the Iowa Hawkeyes.

The Hawkeyes (14-10 overall, 6-5 Big Ten Conference) will put their three-game winning streak on the line twice this week: Thursday against Minnesota (12-13, 4-7) and Sunday against Michigan State (14-9, 6-4). Both games are on Mediacom Court inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

Iowa began its winning streak with a 59-42 decision at home against Purdue on Jan. 28 before claiming back-to-back road games at Wisconsin (85-79 in overtime) and at Indiana (83-64). This is the only time the Hawkeyes will meet the Gophers or the Spartans during the regular season.

In addition to live coverage of each of Bluder’s weekly press conferences, subscribers to Hawkeye All-Access also have exclusive access to the weekly visits with the media of UI head football coach Kirk Ferentz and UI men’s basketball coach Fran McCaffery, live and exclusive coverage of Ferentz’s, McCaffery’s and Bluder’s postgame media conference after home events, live and exclusive coverage of the weekly “Hawk Talk” radio shows of Iowa’s men’s basketball and women’s basketball coaches, and, of course, the live play-by-play of every Iowa women’s basketball game featuring Brent Balbinot and Shelley Till, and all football, men’s basketball and wrestling events.
