Ferentz Live at 4 p.m. (CT)

IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa head football coach Kirk Ferentz will sit down with reporters Wednesday afternoon to talk about the staff changes with the Hawkeye defense.

The visit with local, regional and national media assembled in the Player’s Auditorium in the Hayden Fry Football Complex begins at 4 p.m. (CT), and will be available live from start to finish on Hawkeye All-Access, the multi-media portal inside hawkeyesports.com, the official world wide web of the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Ferentz announced the promotion of Phil Parker to the defensive coordinator position Tuesday. Former linebackers coach Darrell Wilson moved to the defensive backs, while former offensive line coach Reese Morgan shifted to the defensive lineman.

Iowa is coming off a season that produced seven victories and a fourth consecutive bowl appearance. Eleven position players that started in the Insight Bowl against Oklahoma will return for the Hawkeyes next season.

Iowa has been bowl-eligible for 11 consecutive seasons.
