THIS WEEK
The University of Iowa women’s golf team tees off at the Westbrook Spring Invitational on Feb. 26-27. Big Ten rival Wisconsin is hosting the 54-hole tournament at the 6,178-yard, par 72 Vistas Course at the Westbrook Village Golf Club. Competition will begin with 9:30 a.m. (CT) shotgun starts. The 12-team field will play 36 holes on Sunday and 18 on Monday. Live scoring will be available on the women’s golf schedule page at hawkeyesports.com.

THE LINEUP
The Hawkeyes will use the same lineup as they have in their previous seven tournaments. Iowa will take the scores of senior Chelsea Harris, juniors Kristi Cardwell and Gigi DiGrazia, and freshmen Lauren English and Shelby Phillips. Freshman Nicole Rae will compete as an individual.

THE COMPETITION
The field includes five Big Ten teams; Iowa, Indiana, Illinois, Nebraska and Wisconsin. Colorado State (MWC), Eastern Michigan (MAC), Kansas State (Big 12), Texas Tech (Big 12), Idaho (WAC), UTEP (C-USA) and Washington State (Pac 12) are also in the field.

RAE TO MAKE COLLEGIATE DEBUT
Freshman Nicole Rae will make her collegiate debut at the Westbrook Spring Invitational on Feb. 26. She will compete as an individual. The St. Charles, Ill., native was a three-time all-conference selection at East High School.

SEASON-BEST PERFORMANCE BY CARDWELL
Junior Kristi Cardwell finished a season-best seventh after carding a season-low 54-hole score 227 (74-76-77, +11) at the Claud Jacobs Challenge at Feb. 19-20. Cardwell’s previous best finish was a 21st place tie at the Chip-N Club Invitational on Sept. 12-13. Her previous low 54-hole score was 229, set at the Lady Northern Invitational on Oct. 10-11.

DiGRAZIA TIES CAREER-LOW
Junior Gigi DiGrazia tied a career-low by firing a 74 (+2) during the first round of the Claud Jacobs Invitational on Feb. 19. DiGrazia has fired a 74 twice in her career. She first accomplished the feat in the third round of the Jackrabbit Invitational on March 15, 2011.

PHILLIPS FINISHES STRONG
Freshman Shelby Phillips shot her best round of the Claud Jacobs Invitational during the tournament’s final round on Feb. 20. Phillips posted a 77 (+5) to move 15 spots up the leaderboard from tied for 48th the tied for 33rd. Her 33rd place finish tied a season-best.
