IOWA CITY, Iowa — — Single-game ticket to the seven home games of the 2012 University of Iowa football team purchased through the UI Athletics Department’s Hawkeye Village pre-game hospitality program will go on sale today at 9 a.m.
Hawkeye Village customers have access to approximately 1,000 tickets to each home game of the Hawkeyes. Hawkeye Village packages are the perfect solution for individuals wanting a great option for a pre-game environment, and for groups and corporate events of any size. All packages include game tickets, food, non-alcoholic beverages and musical entertainment. Beer and wine service provided by University of Iowa Catering can also be purchased on game day for an additional fee.

Hawkeye Village will again be located inside Duane Banks Field, the home of the University of Iowa’s baseball team located south of Carver-Hawkeye Arena and north of the UI Recreation Building. Hawkeye Village opens three hours prior to kickoff and closes at game time.

The Iowa football team opens its 2012 home schedule Sept. 8 against Iowa State in the annual Iowa-Corn Cy-Hawk Series game. The home schedule also includes dates with non-conference opponents Northern Iowa (Sept. 15) and Central Michigan (Sept. 22), and games with Big Ten Conference rivals Minnesota (Sept. 29, Homecoming), Penn State (Oct. 20), Purdue (Nov. 10) and Nebraska in the annual Hy-Vee Heroes Games the day after Thanksgiving (Nov. 23).
