IOWA CITY, Iowa — Former University Iowa divers Veronica Rydze and Deidre Freeman will compete at the 2012 U.S Olympic Team Trials on June 17-24 at the Weyerhaeuser Fins County Aquatic Center in Federal Way, Wash.
Rydze and Freeman will team up in women’s synchronized three-meter springboard on Sunday, June 17. Prelims begin at 3 p.m. and the semis start at 6 p.m. Finals for the event will be held June 21, at 7 p.m.
Freeman will also compete in the women’s three-meter springboard on Tuesday, June 19, at 10 a.m., while the semis will be held at 7 p.m. the same day. The three-meter springboard finals will take place at 1 p.m. on June 23.
NBC will cover five hours of the finals live on June 23-34. There will also be nine hours of live and tape-delayed coverage airing on the NBC Sports Network throughout the week.
