IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa will announce its 2012 Athletics Hall of Fame class Friday, June 29, at 6:30 p.m. at the Roy G. Karro Athletics Hall of Fame Building. The public is invited to attend the announcement free of charge.
Iowa Director of Athletics Gary Barta and Varsity Club President Trevor Bollers will be featured speakers at the event. The induction ceremony for the 2012 Athletics Hall of Fame class will be Sept. 14, 2012, at the Coralville Marriott Hotel and Conference Center.
The Hall of Fame building will be open to the public the entire weekend as part of Hall of Fame and Varsity Club Weekend at the University of Iowa.
