IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa head football coach Kirk Ferentz will address the media about the Hawkeyes’ first Big Ten Conference road test at Michigan State on Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. (CT).

The weekly briefing with local, regional and national media will be held in the Hayden Fry Football Complex and be available live from start to finish on Hawkeye All-Access, the multi-media portal inside hawkeyesports.com, the official World Wide Web site of the Iowa Hawkeyes.

The game, which will be held at Spartan Stadium, will be televised on ESPN beginning at 11:01 a.m. (CT). Dave Pasch, Brian Griese and Jenn Brown will call the action.

Saturday’s game is the 44th meeting in the series with the Hawkeyes holding a 22-19-2 advantage. Iowa has won two of the last three meetings, four of the last six and nine of the last 14, with four of the losses coming in East Lansing. The Hawkeyes won at Spartan Stadium in 2009, while Michigan State won last season in Iowa City, 37-21.

Michigan State brings a 4-2 overall and 1-1 Big Ten record into the weekend following its 31-27 victory at Indiana on Oct. 6. After trailing 24-17 at halftime, the Spartans scored 17 unanswered points and the MSU defense yielded zero points, two first downs and 37 yards of total offense to ensure the Spartans maintained possession of the Old Brass Spittoon.

The Hawkeyes bring a 3-2 overall record and a 1-0 mark in Big Ten play to East Lansing. Iowa, which was idle last week, defeated Minnesota, 31-13, in its Big Ten opener Sept. 29.
