Men's Tennis Compete in Day One at Northwestern Invite

Day One Results

Evanston, Ill. — Dominic Patrick, Andres Estenssoro, Joey White, and Chase Tomlins of the University of Iowa men’s tennis team competed in the Northwestern Invitational on Friday. The Hawkeyes saw the most success in Doubles Flight A Consolation with a pair of 8-3 victories.

White and Patrick defeated Jorgensen and Wong of Toledo 8-3 in their consolation doubles match. Additionally, Estenssoro and Tomllins defeated Wilson and Appanervanda of Illinois State 8-3 in their doubles match.

Patrick, Estenssoro, White, and Tomlins all fell in their singles matches.

Second round action at the Northwestern Invitational will continue on Saturday, Oct. 27.
