IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa head football coach Kirk Ferentz will meet the media at 12:30 p.m. (CT) Tuesday to talk about Saturday’s home game against Purdue.

The weekly briefing with local, regional and national media will be held in the Hayden Fry Football Complex and be available live from start to finish on Hawkeye All-Access, the multi-media portal inside hawkeyesports.com, the official worldwide website of the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Saturday’s game will begin at 11 a.m. (CT) inside Kinnick Stadium. The game will be televised on the BTN with Josh Lewin, Chris Martin and J Leman calling the action.

The Boilermakers hold a 45-34-3 advantage in the series that begin with a 16-0 Iowa victory in 1910. The Hawkeyes have won five of the last six and 17 of the last 23 meetings, which includes a 31-21 win last season in West Lafayette. The Boilermakers last won in Iowa City in 1992 (27-16).

Purdue (3-6, 0-5) enters the game on a five-game losing streak after falling 34-9 at home to Penn State last weekend. The Boilermakers opened the game with a field goal before the Nittany Lions reeled off 27 straight points to pull away. Purdue’s last victory came Sept. 29 against Marshall, 51-41.

Iowa looks to snap a three-game losing streak after falling 24-21 last Saturday at Indiana. The loss was the team’s third by three points or less this season.
