IOWA CITY, Iowa — Fans of Lisa Bluder’s 2012-13 Iowa women’s basketball team who have purchased season tickets will pay just $5 for a ticket to Wednesday night’s Preseason WNIT game against Middle Tennessee State on Mediacom Court inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
Bluder’s Bunch will look to move their record to a perfect 3-0 when they entertain the Blue Raiders at 7 p.m. The winner will advance to the Preseason WNIT championship game to be played on Sunday against the winner of the Georgetown-North Carolina game that is also scheduled for Wednesday. The site of the championship game will be announced after both semifinal games are completed.
Here is the ticketing plan for Wednesday’s game:
? Beginning at 10 a.m. Monday and through 5 p.m. Tuesday, current year women’s basketball season ticket customers will pay just $5 per ticket for up to the same number of season tickets they have purchased for the 2012-13 season. These tickets will be assigned to the same seats they have as season ticket customers.
? Current year season ticket customers who want to purchase more tickets than what they have purchased in season tickets, will pay $10 for each ticket and those tickets will be assigned seat locations that are not held by a season ticket customer.
? Members of the general public will pay $10 for reserved seat tickets for Wednesday’s game. UI students, and boys and girls 18-years-old and younger will be admitted free.
Tickets can be purchased at the Athletics Ticket Office in Carver-Hawkeye Arena, over the phone by calling 1-800 IA-HAWKS, and online at hawkeyesports.com, the official world wide web site of the Iowa Hawkeyes.
