IOWA CITY, Iowa — Four local Hy-Vee stores have partnered with the University of Iowa women’s basketball team by purchasing 2,000 tickets to Iowa’s game versus Northern Iowa on Saturday, Dec. 1 at 2:30 p.m. Fans can stop by one of the four Hy-Vee stores in Iowa City or Coralville to pick up a free ticket to the game.
Tickets, while supplies last, can be picked up at the customer service counters at any of the four Iowa City or Coralville locations.
Regular ticket prices for UI women’s basketball weekend games are $10 for adults and $5 for children (18 and under). UI students are admitted free with a valid student ID.
The Iowa men’s team hosts Texas A&M Corpus Christi at noon on Dec. 1 as well. Women’s ticket holders are invited to come early to catch the men’s game, but are reminded that seating will be limited. Men’s ticket holders are invited to stay for the women’s game.
Iowa’s game versus Northern Iowa is also Trisha Nesbitt bobblehead night.
