Bluder Live Wednesday

IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa head women’s basketball coach Lisa Bluder will meet the media at noon (CT) Wednesday to talk about the Hawkeyes’ upcoming intrastate rivalry game against Iowa State on Thursday, Dec. 6.

The game is part of the Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series, which the Cyclones currently lead, 9-4.

The weekly briefing with local, regional and national media will be held in the Media Room inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena, and be available live from start to finish on Hawkeye All-Access, the multimedia portal inside hawkeyesports.com, the official worldwide website of the Iowa Hawkeyes.

The undefeated (5-0) and 22nd ranked Cyclones have been idle nine days since an 87-45 win against Drake on Nov. 27. Iowa State averages 73.4 points per game and holds a rebounding advantage over opponents by an average of 12.2 per game. All five starters average double figures in points, led by Hallie Christofferson (15.2 points, 7 rebounds).
