Bluder Live Tuesday

IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa head women’s basketball coach Lisa Bluder will meet the media at approximately 2:15 p.m. (CT) Tuesday to talk about the Hawkeyes’ upcoming Big Ten Conference game at Michigan State on Jan. 17.

The weekly briefing with local, regional and national media will be held in the Media Room inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena, and be available live from start to finish on Hawkeye All-Access, the multimedia portal inside hawkeyesports.com, the official worldwide website of the Iowa Hawkeyes.

The Spartans (14-2 overall, 2-1 Big Ten) lead the conference in scoring defense (45.6 points per game), scoring margin (+17.9), field goal percentage defense (.314) and rebounding margin (+9.4). Their leading scorer is guard Klarissa Bell, who is averaging 12.3 points and 6.7 rebounds a game.

Iowa (13-4, 2-1) has won the last two meetings and four of the last five. The Hawkeyes prevailed 74-57 on Feb. 12, 2012, on Mediacom Court inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
