IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa head women’s basketball coach Lisa Bluder will meet the media at 11:30 a.m. (CT) Tuesday to talk about the Hawkeyes’ upcoming Big Ten Conference game at Minnesota on Feb. 7.
The weekly briefing with local, regional and national media will be held in the Media Room inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena, and be available live from start to finish on Hawkeye All-Access, the multimedia portal inside hawkeyesports.com, the official worldwide website of the Iowa Hawkeyes.
Minnesota (14-9 overall, 3-6 Big Ten) has lost five of its last six games. The Gophers are third in the conference in scoring offense, averaging 71.9 points per contest. Sophomore guard Rachel Banham is second in the Big Ten in scoring (21.1 points per game) and free throw percentage (91.3).
Iowa (16-7, 5-4) looks to rebound after dropping back-to-back games to Illinois and Northwestern last week. Senior guard Jaime Printy is tops in the league in free throw shooting (92.9 percent), sophomore guard Samantha Logic is first in assists per game (6.8) and senior center Morgan Johnson is third in field goal percentage (53.1 percent).
The Hawkeyes have won the last four in the series with Minnesota, including a 75-58 decision last season in Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
