Bluder Live Friday

IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa head women’s basketball coach Lisa Bluder will meet the media at 11:30 a.m. (CT) Friday to talk about the Hawkeyes’ upcoming Big Ten Conference game at Nebraska on Feb. 24.

The weekly briefing with local, regional and national media will be held in the Media Room inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena, and be available live from start to finish on Hawkeye All-Access, the multimedia portal inside hawkeyesports.com, the official worldwide website of the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Nebraska (19-6 overall, 9-3 Big Ten) puts its seven-game winning streak on the line. The Hawkeyes are 17-10, 6-7.

The Cornhuskers are led by junior Jordan Hooper, who averages 19 points, 8.6 rebounds and 2.5 3-point field goals per game. Nebraska is second in the conference, averaging 6.5 3-pointers per game.

Iowa leads the Big Ten in assists per game (16.1), but Nebraska holds a slight edge over the Hawkeyes in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.1). UI senior center Morgan Johnson is tops in the league in field goal percentage (53.5), and sophomore guard Samantha Logic hands out a Big Ten best 6.6 assists per game.
