IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa diving coach Todd Waikel will be conducting two summer diving youth camps at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center (CRWC) Pool on June 23-28 and June 30-July 5.
The cost for a resident camper is $575. Check-in is from 3-4 p.m. (CT) on Sunday, while the camp concludes at 11 a.m. the final day.
The University of Iowa Diving Sports Camps offer an intense and fun-learning experience for kids 10-18 years of age. Waikel will emphasize how to spot, rip, twist (front, back, reverse) and gain good techniques for spinning. It will also focus on condition for diving and how to peak perform.
Waikel has coached divers at all levels — from beginners to national and international levels. He has a long history of helping the athletes get to the next level.
