IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa women’s soccer assistant coach Nick Flohre has been selected to instruct at the EXACT Soccer ID Camp at the University of Missouri-St. Louis this weekend, June 15-16. During the two day camp, Flohre will conduct small group clinic activity, observe players in showcasing their developmental potential and lead one-on-one review sessions with each player.
Flohre, a native of Dayton, Ohio, is entering his second season with the Hawkeyes this year after joining the program in the summer of 2012. Flohre helped lead the team to a 12-6-3, its second highest win total in program history, and a trip to the Big Ten Tournament. Iowa outscored its opponents 40-19 season in Flohre’s first campaign with Iowa.
Flohre graduated from the University of Indianapolis in 2003 and went on to play for the USL-1 Indiana Blast. He has been the director of SoccerPlus Camps, a staff coach for the FSASoccerPlus FC and a staff coach at the New Orleans Soccer Academy. Flohre has a USSF `B’ Coaching License and served as the Girl’s Assistant Director of Coaching at the Ohio Elite Soccer Academy for five years before coming to Iowa City.
