Start Times Set for 2 Iowa Football Games

IOWA CITY, Iowa — Start times for the first two games of the 2013 Iowa football season were released Wednesday and both contests will be televised on BTN.

The Hawkeyes’ season-opener against Northern Illinois on Aug. 31 is slated to begin at 2:30 p.m. (CT). Iowa’s Week 2 game against Missouri State (Sept. 7) is set for 11 a.m.

Iowa owns an 8-0 all-time series lead against the Huskies, including an 18-17 victory at Soldier Field in Chicago last season. The meeting with Missouri State is the first between the schools.

Start times have been set for seven of Iowa’s 12 games — at Iowa State (5 p.m.), at Minnesota (2:30 p.m.), Michigan State (11 a.m.), at Ohio State (2:30 p.m.), and at Nebraska (11 a.m.).
