IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa football program has 26 former Hawkeyes on NFL rosters. The NFL continued its regular season over the weekend. A number of former Hawkeyes saw action and had success for their respective teams.
Pat Angerer – LB – Indianapolis Colts: Angerer made his fourth-straight start for the Colts in the team’s win over Denver on Sunday night, tallying six tackles and an interception. In his four years with the Colts, Angerer has recorded 287 total tackles. He led the Colts and ranked fourth in the league in 2011 with 148 stops.
Jonathan Babineaux – DL – Atlanta Falcons: Babineaux started and registered a tackle in the Falcons’ win over Tampa Bay on Sunday. He has started the last 81 games for Atlanta.
Bryan Bulaga – OL – Green Bay Packers: Bulaga has been placed on injured reserve. He is in his fourth season with Green Bay, and has made 33 career starts. Bulaga won a Super Bowl ring during his rookie season with the Packers in 2010.
Scott Chandler – TE – Buffalo Bills: Chandler started and caught two passes for 18 yards in the Bills’ 23-21 win against the Dolphins on Sunday. Chandler has started 27 of the last 37 games he has competed in for the Bills, including five of seven this season.
Dallas Clark – TE – Baltimore Ravens: Clark tallied three receptions in Baltimore’s loss to Pittsburgh on Sunday. The former Iowa All-American and John Mackey Award winner is in his first season with the Baltimore Ravens after spending last year with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Adrian Clayborn – DL – Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Clayborn registered two tackles in the Buccaneers 31-23 loss to the Eagles. He has started all 25 games he has appeared in for the Bucs, including all six this season.
Colin Cole – DL – Carolina Panthers: Cole made his fourth-straight start for the Panthers on Sunday as they defeated the Rams, tallying two tackles and a sack. Cole is with Carolina after spending the past two seasons out of the NFL. In his career, Cole has recorded 222 tackles, and five and a half sacks.
Mike Daniels – DL – Green Bay Packers: Daniels registered a sack in the Packers’ win over the Browns on Sunday. In his first season in the league last year, Daniels recorded 14 tackles while appearing in 15 games. He has played in all six games this season.
Bradley Fletcher – DB – Philadelphia Eagles: Fletcher, in his first season with the Eagles after four years with the Rams, started and had four tackles and a pass break-up during the Eagles’ loss to Dallas. Fletcher has started all six games he has appeared in this year, missing week 2 due to injury.
Adam Gettis – OL – Washington Redskins: Gettis, in his second year with the Redskins, saw action in the team’s win against Chicago on Sunday. He has played in four games this season.
Charles Godfrey – DB – Carolina Panthers: Godfrey is out for the season due to injury, missing his first game of the season in week 3. Godfrey, in his sixth season with Carolina, has made 74 career starts.
Shonn Greene – RB – Tennessee Titans: Greene returned from injury Sunday in the team’s loss to San Francisco, and notched one carry. The former All-American and 2008 Doak Walker Award Winner is in his first season with the Titans after spending the previous four seasons with the New York Jets. Greene rushed for at least 1,000 yards in his final two seasons in New York.
Chad Greenway – LB – Minnesota Vikings: Greenway notched 10 tackles in the team’s loss at the Giants on Monday Night Football. The former Iowa All-American has started 101 of the last 102 games for the Vikings.
Micah Hyde – CB – Green Bay Packers: Hyde, winner of the 2012 Tatum-Woodson Defensive Back of the Year award, recorded six total tackles in the team’s win over the Browns on Sunday. Hyde also returned a punt for 18 yards. The rookie has played in all six contests this season, with one start.
Karl Klug – DL – Tennessee Titans: Klug saw action for the Titans on Sunday, recording no statistics. Klug has appeared in all 39 games for Tennessee during his first three seasons, making one start in each season. As a rookie in 2011, Klug compiled a team-high seven sacks. The total tied for sixth place in sacks among all NFL rookies, tied for fourth among all NFL defensive tackles, and led all NFL rookie defensive tackles.
Marvin McNutt – WR – Carolina Panthers: In his second year in the league, McNutt was signed to the Carolina Panthers active roster two weeks ago after beginning the season with the Miami Dolphins. He did not see action Sunday for the Panthers.
Tony Moeaki – TE – Kansas City Chiefs: Moeaki has been placed on the injured reserve list. Now in his fourth year with the Chiefs, Moeaki has made 29 career starts, registering 80 receptions for 1,009 yards and four touchdowns.
Brandon Myers – TE – New York Giants: Myers made his seventh-consecutive start for the Giants on Monday night in the team’s win over the Vikings, catching two passes. Myers, in his first year with the Giants after spending four years with Oakland, has 131 career receptions for 1,279 yards and five touchdowns.
Shaun Prater – DB – Philadelphia Eagles: In his second year in the league, Prater has appeared in one game for the Eagles this season.
Riley Reiff – OL – Detroit Lions: Reiff made his seventh start of the season Sunday as the Lions fell to the Bengals. He has started 15 career games during his first two seasons in the league. Reiff was Detroit’s first round pick in 2012, marking the third-straight season an Iowa player was selected in the first round of the NFL Draft.
Allen Reisner – TE – Jacksonville Jaguars: Reisner has been placed on injured reserve. He has started three games this season.
Ricky Stanzi – QB – Jacksonville Jaguars: Stanzi did not see action Sunday in the team’s loss to San Diego.
Matt Tobin – OL – Philadelphia Eagles: Tobin, in his first year in the league, did not see action for the Eagles on Sunday.
Julian Vandervelde – OL – Philadelphia Eagles: Vandervelde, in his third year with the Eagles, has seen action in all seven contests this season.
Marshal Yanda – OL – Baltimore Ravens: Yanda started for the Ravens in the team’s loss to the Steelers on Sunday. He has made 79 career starts in seven years for the Ravens, including the last 53 games.
Markus Zusevics – OL – New England Patriots: Zusevics, in his second season with New England, was placed on the injured reserve list.
