Date Change: Iowa vs. Maryland

IOWA CITY, Iowa — The date of the University of Iowa soccer team’s home game against Maryland has changed. The Hawkeyes and Terrapins will now square off Thursday, Sept. 25, at 2:30 p.m. (CT) at the Iowa Soccer Complex.

The game was originally scheduled for Friday, Sept. 26, but was moved for television purposes. The contest will be broadcast live on the Big Ten Network.

The Sept.25 tilt is “Student Day” at the Iowa Soccer Complex with free pizza and pop available for students (while supplies last). UI students can also register to win a free Xbox one and a copy of the game FIFA World Cup 2014. The first 75 fans will receive a free BTN foam finger.

The Hawkeyes (7-1-0, 2-0-0) are back in action Sept. 20, facing Minnesota at Elizabeth Lyle Robbie Stadium in Minneapolis at 7 p.m.
