IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa men’s and women’s swimming and diving team will host their annual Intrasquad Meet on Saturday in the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center Pool at 9 a.m. (CT).
The Hawkeyes will split into two teams — the “Black” team and the “Gold” team — and will compete in 11 events throughout the meet. Competition begins with the 200 medley relay, and concludes with the 200 free relay. A five-minute break will mark the halfway point of the meet. UI divers will get the opportunity to compete in the pool as well by taking part in a heat of the 50 free.
Following Saturday’s competition, the Hawkeyes return to action Oct. 17, in East Lansing, Michigan, squaring off with Michigan State at 3 p.m. (CT).
