IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa head women’s basketball coach Lisa Bluder will meet with media at 2 p.m. (CT) Wednesday to preview her team’s game against Drake on Sunday in the Knapp Center in Des Moines.
The briefing with local, regional and national media will be held in the Media Room inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena, and be available live from start to finish on Hawkeye All-Access, the multimedia portal inside hawkeyesports.com, the official worldwide website of the Iowa Hawkeyes.
The Hawkeyes are 8-2 overall and ranked 23rd in the country by The Associated Press. Iowa is on a two-game winning streak after knocking off Colorado, 78-63, on Dec. 7, and Iowa State, 76-67, on Dec. 11. Drake, which plays a home game against Northwestern College on Thursday, is 4-5. The Bulldogs are coached by Iowa alumna Jennie (Lillis) Baranczyk.
